I walked into the doors of CrossFit Syracuse in 2012 initially seeking a new type of workout, not knowing I was walking into a new type of life. As a biomedical engineer and former childhood golf phenom, “Athlete” was never a word I would use to describe myself. However, I would describe myself as intelligent and humble with a rarely matched work ethic. Since those early days at CFS, I have redefined myself as an athlete, totally overhauled my body, my diet and my overall state of wellness. Goals I once held that seemed unattainable, have been met and exceeded. In addition, I have fallen in love with Olympic weightlifting which is now the sole focus of my own personal training goals.
The overwhelming positive change in my life sparked my desire to progress from student to Instructor. As cliché as it sounds, I decided to chase my passions and left a high stress job to dedicate myself full time to the fitness and wellness industry. By combining my knowledge of strength and conditioning, human kinesiology, yoga and nutrition, I strive to help my clients of all ages and experience levels reach physical, mental and athletic achievements that perhaps they now see as unattainable.
I am beyond excited to be a part of the team at CrossFit Syracuse. I love CFS because of the strength it has brought to my body and my life and for all the amazing people and teachers I have met along the way.
